To that end, we're constantly re-evaluating our products and looking for new ways to improve our manufacturing processes, minimize resource utilization and energy consumption, cut emissions to air, water and soil, mitigate toxicity potential, and reduce misuse and risk potential.

Product Stewardship

No matter what the product, we carefully consider all health, safety and environmental aspects, starting with the development stage of each new product through the associated production processes. We make constant efforts to reduce the hazards and risks inherent to the manufacturing process, storage, transportation, marketing, use, recycling and disposal of BASF Polyurethane products. We offer assistance and training to our customers and partners about how to handle our products safely. And in case of an emergency, our customers and all emergency forces can rely on the BASF network of expert support.
