Resins/Binders/Latex

  • Acronal® Optive™ low to zero VOC acrylic resins for formulation of architectural coatings, including: Acronal Optive 130, and Acronal Optive 230, 50 g/l VOC capable latexes, which also offer superior titanium dioxide efficiency.
  • Basonat® aliphatic isocyanates for high quality two-part polyurethane coating systems.
  • Joncryl® self cross-linking emulsions for wood and hardboard primers.
  • Joncryl 960 and Joncryl 963 acrylic reactive diluents for lowering the VOCs of solvent-based coatings.
  • A full range of binders, additives and cross-linkers for OEM and field-applied metal applications, which includes Joncryl emulsions and polyols, Acronol acrylic emulsions for metal primers, Laropal pigment dispersing resins, Luwipal and Plastopal amino resins, and Basonat aliphatic isocyanates for 2 K urethanes.

Pigments and Colorants

  • Aurasperse® and Aurasperse® II dispersions for in-plant tinting.
  • Heliogen®, Luconyl®, Lumogen® and Sicopal® pigments.
  • Meteor® black & Meteor Plus® complex inorganic color pigments (CICP) that are extremely lightfast and resistant to temperature extremes, chemicals and long-term exposure to weather.
  • Options® universal colorants and H2® Options high-strength aqueous in-plant colorants.
  • Paliotol® high performance organic yellow pigments with various shades from a greenish to a reddish shade.

Effect Pigments

  • Firemist® Colormotion color shifting pigments with brilliant color and glittering effects that move across the color spectrum with changes in the viewing angle.
  • Lumina® mica-based effect pigments that create multi-optical effects when combined with other effect or color pigments.

Specialty Additives

PLURACOAT®, a portfolio of high performance specialty additives developed to address environmental and performance needs of coatings formulators. PLURACOAT has three functional platforms:

  • Pluracoat® CA additives that help formulators to meet environmental requirements such as low VOC and Alkylphenol Ethoxylate (APEO) free.
  • Pluracoat® Dispersal DA dispersants for pigment dispersions and color development.
  • Pluracoat® Performa additives for multi-purpose coating applications that require enhanced performance, such as wetting, de-foaming, dispersing, and adhesion promotion.

Specialty Minerals

  • Alsibronz® mica reinforcements.
  • ASP® G90 and G92 glossing TiO2 extenders.
  • ASP® 200 and 400 for industrial and architectural primers.
  • Attagel® rheology modifiers.
