CHARLOTTE, NC, May 19, 2011 -- Effective June 1, 2011, or as contracts allow, BASF will increase its price for all BUTONAL styrene-butadiene high solids latex polymers sold to the asphalt modification markets by $US .12 per wet pound globally.

This action is necessary as a result of significant increases in costs for raw materials, in particular butadiene and styrene, as well as rising energy costs.
