Green Sense^® Concrete is an advanced concrete-optimization service that results in new levels of performance, profitability and sustainability. Green Sense Concrete technology utilizes BASF’s mixture proportioning expertise to determine the optimal combination of recycled materials and tailor-made chemical admixtures needed to improve the application process, setting characteristics, strength, and durability of concrete.

NeoProTK ^™ Insulating Sheathing

Integrated with BASF’s Neopor^® graphite beads, NeoProTK^™ by Perma “R” Products^™ is a rigid insulation consisting of high-performance, closed-cell expanded polystyrene (EPS). With the help of Neopor’s superior thermal properties, this insulating sheathing improves insulation capacity by as much as 20%, is an ENERGY STAR^® qualified product and is free of ozone-depleting chemicals and formaldehyde. Enhanced with Preventol^® Preservation Insecticide, an environmentally safe additive, NeoProTK insulating sheathing is specially formulated to resist and kill subterranean termites.

Enershield^™ Air and Moisture Resistant Barriers

Versatile and durable, BASF’s line of Enershield^™ air and water-resistive barriers can be applied behind all cladding materials, and are fully qualified with many popular water-drainage EIFS designs. The same Enershield product, paired with sheathing fabric can also be used to treat window openings. This line of products enables builders to efficiently protect a building from air leakage and moisture with a single product.

NyloDeck^®

NyloDeck^® made by Nyloboard LLC^®, is a unique green technology composite deck board made using 100% recycled carpet fibers and BASF’s Elastopor^® rigid polyurethane foam.  Absolutely no wood or wood products are used to produce this natural looking new generation of decking. Lighter weight and easier to handle than wood based and other composite decking, Nylodeck is moisture, mold and termite resistant.
