BASF provides grant to Wilkinson County EMA
Supplies much-needed field equipment upgrade for the Emergency Management Agency

MCINTYRE, GA, February 3, 2010 – BASF Catalysts LLC provided a $5,000 donation to the Wilkinson County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) in support of their efforts to serve and protect county residents.  According to Emergency Management Director Gary Brown, the funds allowed them to purchase three high-quality Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to replace older units that are used to revive patients in the field.

“BASF is firmly committed to protecting the health and safety of our workers, as well as our neighbors, and supporting the communities where we live and work,” said BASF Site Manager Keith Brooks.  “This donation will help the EMA to provide a higher level of response to residents during a critical time of emergency need.”
