BASF offers discount on bed bug control products now through December 18
New Bed Bug Solution Program features Prescription Treatment™ Phantom® pressurized insecticide, Phantom® termiticide-insecticide and Prescription Treatment™ Alpine® dust insecticide

ST. LOUIS, MO, November 18, 2009 – Through December 18, pest management professionals (PMPs) can earn a $5 point-of-purchase discount on each 21-ounce bottle of Phantom® termiticide-insecticide and 3 lb Alpine® dust container as part of the Bed Bug Solutions Program sponsored by BASF. PMPs can also purchase Phantom pressurized insecticide and earn an instant $2 point-of-purchase discount.

“Phantom pressurized insecticide and Alpine dust are key components of our new Bed Bug Solutions Program,” said Nick Tresslar, GIC Marketing Manager for BASF Pest Control Solutions (PCS). “Together these products address the current issues of pyrethroid resistance and repellency making control and prevention more reliable.”

“Phantom provides control in targeted problem areas, including vulnerable cracks and crevices, and spaces behind or beneath bed frames and cabinets. Alpine®dust insecticide provides protection in voids and features dinotefuran, which was granted Reduced Risk* status for public health use.”
