RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC, March 17, 2008 – BASF Turf & Ornamentals today announced it has launched Stature™SC fungicide, a new liquid flowable formulation of its widely used Stature® DM fungicide. This new formulation will help greenhouse and field and container nurseries preventatively control phytophthora and downy mildew diseases.
As a Group 40 fungicide, this new flowable formulation is a different mode of action than other fungicide chemical classes. When rotated into disease management programs, Stature SC helps growers prevent fungicide resistance.
For application ease, growers can measure Stature SC in small or large amounts and apply as a spray, drench or through chemigation. The new flowable formulation mixes faster as a liquid suspension and its 25-fl.-oz. package size fits all ornamental operations. The product is also effective for conifer seedling operations, shadehouse and lathhouse growers.
