| BASF to increase styrene-butadiene
latex prices for the carpet industry
CHARLOTTE, N.C., January 17, 2006 -- Effective February 15, 2006,
or as contracts allow, BASF will raise prices by three cents per
dry pound in the United States and Canada on all Styrofan® carboxylated
styrene-butadiene emulsion polymers supplied to the carpet industry.
