Ultramid® is also used for chassis parts such as steering wheels, steering column mountings, roller bearing cages and fastening clips, Exterior parts such as spoilers, bumpers, singly or combined, door sills, radiator grills, exterior door handles, door-mirror housings and wheel covers and Parts for electrical fittings such as cable harnesses, straps and connectors, headlamp housings, lamp holders and fuse boxes.

Rugged Ultramid® resins also perform in a range of seating components, including seat cushion and seat back frames, seat track adjusters and transmissions, as well as lumbar supports and lumbar and recliner handles. Ultramid® resins’ broad property profile has won successful application in everything from interior and exterior door handles and systems; mirror shells, housings and brackets, pedals, roof racks to front-end modules, multifunction switches, wheel covers and connectors.

Nypel® Recycled Nylon (polyamide)
Nypel recycled nylon injection molding compounds, based on select, post-industrial, recycled polyamide (nylon) feedstocks, are specially formulated to combine quality, performance and processability. Nypel provides molders, converters and automotive manufacturers an environmentally friendly, cost-efficient material that is a reliable source of recycled content for the end vehicle in such applications as wheel covers and hubs, fuel filler pockets, supports and brackets.

Ultraform® Acetal (polyoxymethylene)
In the interior/exterior area, Ultraform® can be found in gas filler caps, tank level sensors, gasoline pump housings and parts, valves, seat-belt release buttons, windshield wiper clips, loudspeaker grilles, suspension stabilizer links, levers and rods, sun roof frames, ball sockets, roll-over valves and wash nozzles.
