BASF Canada supplies a range of ASA (Luran S®), SAN (Luran®) and ABS (Terluran®) products for the Canadian market. Standard grades of ABS are used in all general purpose ABS applications, such as appliances, sports and leisure, general injection moulding, and extrusion. ASA is used primarily for outdoor applications where there is a requirement of resistance to outdoor weathering and can be both extruded and injection moulded. Its many applications include automotive exterior parts, boat hulls and exterior parts, swimming pool accessories, and lawn furniture. Both ASA and ABS are produced in our Altamira, Mexico location.
